I wanted to share my wellness journey as I continue to learn how to live a holistic wholesome life. Loving myself from the inside out to full health!
I created The Wholesome Heart, as I went through a series (pretty much my entire life) of health issues that you can read about in ‘My Journey’.It got to a point where my body had given me so many warning signs that I couldn’t physically or mentally ignore them anymore.I went to see so many specialists and had no idea what I needed to do next. One minute I was told, its all in my head, next minute my body was born with extra length in my intestines and I just had to live with it? I want this to be a platform to share my experiences and help empower each other , you don’t have to go through life alone, let along your health journey.
Who are you meant to trust? With so many doctors, specialists and opinions…. it can make your journey harder than it needs to be.
We have all questioned our specialists, listen to what your gut is telling you, only your body knows what you need to heal.
I had to take life-changing action into my own hands. After making some health changes, eliminating all inflammation foods and getting my gut functioning better, adding more probitic foods, I stopped putting my body under any further external stresses’, something was still missing. I relaized it was becoming a constant search, for the next answer, the next specialist or the next program…
I realized I had to really fall back in love with myself wholeheartedly, without completely loving myself there would always be something missing from my life, whether it be physically, mentally or materialistically!
When you love yourself and your body, you will neither abuse yourself or others around you. You choose foods that will only nourish you, relationships that only serve, grow and support you. Having a meaningful career that aligns with your values. Finding enjoyable activities that keep your body and mind dynamic. All of these things become easy and instinctive once you find the authentic YOU!
In amongst this journey, not only did I find me, I found where my passion laid… in Healthy Living and Healing! Duh, I was living and breathing this every single day. I knew I wanted to create a space for women just like me, going through the same issues.
You’ve been criticizing yourself for years… and it hasn’t worked, so lets create an environment where we can flourish together!
So I enrolled at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. I want to re-educate and empower you to love yourself and create a life you genuinely love! I want to ignite you and grow your potential in a holistic way, through Nutrition, Spirituality, Fitness, Career, Social life and Relationships. The whole kit and caboodle. Therefore creating a wholesome approach to life, literally loving yourself to full health.
This site is my creative space for all things I am passionate about, that I would love to share with you. From nourishing recipes, ways to connect deeper with yourself, different ways to keep active physically and mentally, all things that I have learnt along my journey (saving you allot of time AND money!) and ways to live a much simpler life, which is really what we all want.
This is a community for like-minded women to connect and grow together.
We all have our ups and downs and this way we can learn together, and make the best possible choices for ourselves.I want you to feel comfortable and live an authentic and wholesome life with me.

Think back to a time when you were passionately in love (be this a relationship, or a passion). Everything was exciting. Colours were rich and bright. Sounds were beautiful and crisp. You were floating on air, you could smell the roses literally… This is what life should be!
